Timber producers and users meet growers, November 16 - 17 2013

Filleting some Ironbark eucalypt, sawn by Ruapehu sawmills, at Eastown Timber Processors, Wanganui. This species is class 1 naturally durable.

Rob O'Keefes joinery workshop in Wanganui. Rob has a reputation for quality craftmanship and is interested in using more locally grown specialty timbers.

Healthy macrocarpa stand at Denis Hockings property, "Rangitoto", near Bulls. Good seed selection has overcome the cypress canker problem and pruning will produce high value macrocarpa clearwood
